At 12:20 pm on October 18, 2010 the HVFD was dispatched to a reported two car motor vehicle accident on St Hwy 30N near First Niagara Bank. A car with multiple occupants was stopping for the red light when it was rear ended by a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup was not injured and refused treatment at the scene.  The driver and one occupant of the car were treated at the scene by our EMT's and GAVAC personnel and were transported by GAVAC to St. Mary's Hospital for further evaluation. 

The NYS Police investigated the accident while HVFD Fire Police controlled traffic around the scene.
